QBT’s Bitcoin mining R&D team relies on more than 200 years combined of research experience, which includes some of the most accredited international figures in the fields of quantum computing, cryptography and machine learning (AI).

The team is geographically split between the UK and Italy, involves several current, or former, university professors, PhDs university students, and highly experienced professionals.

It is divided into 7 groups, focusing on the following research areas:
